The right place at the right time again, met two gentlemen, discovered they were from San Francisco. I will know more about them when I visit them at their Jazz Bar(Two for the Road).

Kathy Billie Daniels is the singer and her husband Montana de Baja is on the piano. Montana’s friend Hands Amereto AKA Eddie Valencia is yet to be determined (I thought with the Hands moniker), he was also a pianist, we’ll know more later.

What is interesting is that Montana De Baja AKA Marty Daniels is a professional fisherman and lure manufacturer. When talking about the different lures he invented, he mentioned that his favorite was all black.

After a couple glasses of wine, I looked at him and said you know “Black Lures Matter”, he went ballistic and said that was perfect for marketing. He got up and left, went home and got one of the last black lures and gave it to me. I will mount it on the bulkhead on the port side of Footloose
