Made another attempt at fixing the navigation lights and did make some progress. It turns out you can access them from inside the boat. In fact once I got the plate off the outside, it became obvious the only way to fix them is from the inside. If only I could speak French my French friend would be getting an ear full. I only took off the port side, so I only have to bed it with sealer, then go attack it from the inside.

It appears my fresh water tank is gettinglow(below 25 gallons), I am in the process of making fresh water from salt water. I can make about 7 gallons an hour using my Spectra Watermaker.  The system is a reverse osmosis type and I will probably run it for about 5 hours.

It’s payday tomorrow and I will be off buying fresh fruits and veggies. I will be going to a Ralph’smarket, which as I recall is a lot like Mollie Stones or Raleys. We shall.see.

My social calendar is starting to fill up. My friend John Heckle (St. Fu) will pick me up on Saturday late morning and take me to Southwestern Yacht Club for lunch. Then on Sunday I will bus it out to Steve Palmer’s house for BBQ chicken.

There.I was sitting outside around 9 PM enjoying the peace andquiet, after a very nice sunset when the first fireworks explosion scared the Hell out of me. It was worth the scare as they were fantastic.
