The Mighty Untouchables

Took the day off to go into San Diego and have a margarita. The place I found was a little too upscale for me, but nice. The name of the restaurant was “Puesto” and the margaritas were just what I needed to relax. Sat at the bar next to a nice young lady from New York and Israel whose name was Sarah. We of course had to discuss Trump and she said it was refreshing to be able to mention his name without getting run out of town. I guess New York and San Francisco have a lot in common.

I also had 3 taquitos with quacamole. I then went around the corner to a Starbucks and had a cup of mixed fruit and the gal behind the counter suggested I have a cup of whipped cream with it and I did. Yummy.

The purpose of Starbucks was of course Internet connection. I checked email and forgot about sending my Blogs to Jennifer (must have been the mixed fruit). My hip was a little more friendly today and I can’t wait until it’s totally healed. Turns out there is a really upscale Mexican food place (Coasterra) a stones throw away from where Footloose is anchored. It’s right on the tip of Harbor Island but I won’t go there until Wednesday (payday) and at Happy hour.

At 9pm the band (The Mighty Untouchables Band) started to play at Coasterra and it was like they were on board. Good but a little loud. They finished up a little before 11 and things are back to normal. I will take a picture of the place when I go over for Happy Hour.
